DJ Jordan Ruby

For Jordan Ruby, the event industry isn't just a career path—it's a way of life. As the son of BRAVO Live DJ founder Josh Ruby and his wife Christy, Jordan has quite literally grown up around music, celebrations, and unforgettable events. When BRAVO Live DJ was founded, Jordan was just three years old, and ever since then, he's known his dad not only as a father, but as a DJ, entertainer, and entrepreneur.

From an early age, Jordan could often be found helping set up sound equipment, loading gear, and soaking in everything that happened behind the scenes. Those experiences gave him a front-row seat to the art of entertaining and sparked a lifelong appreciation for music and event production.

While his roots in the DJ industry run deep, Jordan chose to forge his own path after high school by attending Appalachian Bible College, where he studied Pastoral Ministry and Biblical Counseling. It was there that he met the love of his life, Grace. The two would eventually marry and work together at a Christian school—an experience Jordan still describes as one of the most rewarding seasons of his life.

Today, Jordan is pursuing a career in construction, Monday through Friday, with aspirations of becoming a general contractor. Yet no matter where his weekday profession takes him, weekends are always reserved for rocking parties as a Pro-Mix DJ. During his college years, Jordan began MCing events alongside other BRAVO Live DJ team-members to earn a little extra money. What started as just a side hustle quickly became a genuine passion. Before long, he was eager to learn the art of DJing itself.

Jordan was an extremely quick learner. Afterall, he's been preparing for the role his entire life. Having grown up around events, weddings, and professional entertainers, he brings a unique perspective, fresh energy, and natural confidence behind the DJ booth. His ability to connect with people, serve others, and create memorable experiences makes him a perfect fit for the BRAVO Live DJ family.

Whether he's helping coordinate a wedding reception, keeping guests engaged as an MC, or filling the dance floor with great music, Jordan is committed to making every event a celebration worth remembering. With strong family values, a servant's heart, and a lifelong connection to the entertainment industry, Jordan is proudly carrying on the BRAVO Live DJ tradition while creating a legacy all his own.
